About The Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Partnerships Lead to spearhead the market assessment, qualification, and acquisition of partners for Tide’s Structured Partner Solutions platform.

Tide Structured Partner Solutions is a comprehensive business management platform designed to streamline payment processes for SMEs working with contractors and freelancers. Offering a secure, centralized and integrated solution for managing expenses and processing payouts with ease and efficiency - saving our members time and money.

You will be responsible for identifying and securing high-value partnerships within and outside the Tide ecosystem across key industry verticals such as construction, mobility, hospitality, healthcare, recruitment and onboarding those Partners to Tide.

This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the early success of a new strategic initiative, working closely with internal stakeholders to refine our go-to-market strategy. For the right candidate who meets performance expectations, there is potential for a permanent role within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Assess market landscape and identify the best-fit partners for Tide’s Structured Partner Solutions platform.
Lead the end-to-end partnership cycle, from identification and qualification to pitching, negotiation, and onboarding.
Develop, execute and lead a targeted partner acquisition strategy focused on construction, mobility, hospitality, and recruitment sectors.
Develop and sell the value proposition, championing it effectively to prospective partners to drive engagement and adoption.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target industries.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and commercial teams to shape the partner proposition.
Track and report on key partnership performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Ensure a data-driven approach to partner engagement, leveraging insights to refine acquisition and onboarding strategies.
Be the voice of Partners, actively sharing market feedback and insights from ongoing engagements on product features, and participate in roadmap planning sessions in close collaboration with the product team.

What We Are Looking For

Proven experience in partnerships, business development, or sales within fintech, SaaS, or a relevant B2B sector.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and a track record of securing high-value partnerships.
Experience in developing and managing partnerships within financial services, embedded finance, or other B2B solutions is a plus.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to engage at C-level.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Principal Engineer, you will be a technical leader, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tide’s intermediated credit platform. Managing the Engineering Managers (EMs) within the domain, this role is focused on technical leadership, architecture, and engineering strategy.
As a Principal Engineer you will
Defining and driving the architectural direction for Tide’s Intermediated Credit product, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance.

10+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 5 years working in fintech.
Strong experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
Proficient in the Python ecosystem, relational databases, and modern cloud-native development, with expertise in designing scalable micro-services.
Hands-on experience designing fault-tolerant, high-availability architectures.
Proven ability to deliver 3rd party integrations, including influencing the provider's delivery and roadmaps.

About The Team

The Product Operations team is managing daily payment processes, and working in collaboration with Product Management to deliver new features. The Product Operations team overseas and is responsible for the “live” production of each product ensuring its smooth operation. Positioned at the intersection of Product and Engineering, we enhance the development value stream and ensure swift delivery of new products and features. Our responsibilities include risk management, vendor and partner management, operational setup, business readiness, and post-launch performance monitoring. About The Role

We’re seeking a data-driven Senior Product Operations Manager with a background in Consulting, Operations, Finance, or Technology. As a key member of Tide’s Payments Product Operations team, you will oversee the key payment product in our France market. This role involves collaborating with various teams, including member support, financial crime, finance, tech, product, suppliers, and Tide Members. You’ll join a motivated and collaborative team dedicated to helping people achieve their business ambitions while living our values: putting members first, working as one team, and being data-driven.

Playing a key role shaping Payments Operations in Europe. This role will heavily focus on our France market.
Supporting Product Managers to manage cross functional technical projects.
Engaging with external partners to agree on SLAs and performance.
Interacting with VP level and presenting research to internal and external audiences.
Acting as the voice of the customer. You will wear tide member’s goggles to define a smooth experience.
Providing support to the rest of Operations worldwide. Guiding the operations community towards constant improvement.

What We Are Looking For

You have at least six years of work experience in finance, consulting, technology or operations.
You are fluent in both English and French. Other european languages are highly valuable
You have a good understanding of the financial markets in Europe, and France.
You are organised - can deliver complex projects spanning multiple work streams and functional areas.
You are responsible - we need to be able to trust you to own projects with minimal oversight, but to bring in help when needed.
You are proactive - you’ll need to enjoy the challenge of continuously improving processes and always be on the hunt for the next problem that needs to be fixed!
You have to have a strong attention to detail - you need a sixth sense for when things don’t look right and the conviction to investigate whether it’s a larger problem!
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - you’ll be explaining the root causes of problems to management and working with providers to get to the bottom of problems.
