A market leading organisation within data engineering is searching for a Cloud Engineer to join their small team and develop technologies within the sustainability/energy sector. This role will see you taking responsibility of the software development team are to build a secured and scalable data platform that is capable of handling millions of incoming data points from thousands of ships and develop robust digital applications that are capable of delivering seamless experiences to thousands of users - you will be responsible for building the Front End of our application using JavaScript and React. Key Responsibilities: Develop the web Front End that will communicate with microservice components. Work with our UX designer to understand the design of our Front End components as presented in Figma. Collaborate with Back End software engineers and cloud engineers to define the data contracts and understand the best architecture for our API endpoints. Key skills: Extensive expertise in JavaScript or Typescript Proven experience of using React and Next.js frameworks Strong experience with HTML and CSS, Good knowledge of Tailwind would be a plus. Experience working in a DevOps environment and with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and experience with Azure in general. The salary for this role is up to circa £60k + benefits.
