Associate / Senior Associate – Value Creation Infrastructure Location: Paris, France An established private equity infrastructure fund is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Value Creation team in Paris. This individual will play a critical role in working with portfolio companies to accelerate their growth post-acquisition. Key Responsibilities: Fund Management Maintain and track the fund model, including valuation updates. Oversee treasury management, capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the funds. Manage LP reporting, acting as the key liaison between investee companies and the finance team. Handle compliance, tax, and reporting matters related to the funds. Coordinate the fund’s reporting obligations, ensuring timely and accurate qualitative and quantitative data submissions. Asset Management Oversee the asset management process, including risk reviews, impact KPIs, and reporting. Develop and implement tools and processes to enhance asset management functions. Support the onboarding of new portfolio companies. Monitor financial and operational performance, developing strategic direction and business plans. Conduct risk analysis and opportunity assessments for existing investments. Manage key governance activities, including board meetings, budget reviews, and shareholder agreements. Represent the fund at subsidiary board meetings, providing critical financial analysis and decision support. Coordinate financial statements and other reporting obligations, working with finance teams, external auditors, and service providers. Conduct sector research and provide market updates. Assist with potential acquisitions (“build-ups”), including investment thesis development, business planning, and acquisition debt structuring. Improve the quality of data provided by portfolio companies and manage key portfolio databases. Qualifications & Experience: 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure private equity, investment, or asset management. Strong finance, accounting, and financial modeling background. Knowledge of French and IFRS GAAP accounting standards. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines. Fluency in French and English (additional languages are a plus).
