Job Specifications

Work closely with one of the Partners and use every single scientific method you’re aware of to have the best impact on PnL.

You’ll be working closely with fundamental PMs and you will immediately become an integral part of the investment team. Every single person is valued here and as part of the lean team, maximizing the usage and outcomes of the research infrastructure is a key reason why this fund performs well year after year.

There’s a great approach taken here to use all aspects of experience, science, and technology to make investment decisions. Because of this blend, everyone is given responsibility and are trusted to make decisions and share ideas that will make the impact they desire.

Your day to day will involve working closely with the partner mentioned above, and the wider team, which is small currently but growing steadily. From identifying and onboarding new data sources – whatever you need to get your job done – to creating new research strategies/ideas, you will be encouraged to innovate, to get the edge over competitors and contribute to the firms central book.

In terms of your experience, you’ll need to be coming from a strong quantitative research background already. This could be either buy or sell side, but it’s likely you’ll have some systematic trading experience and cross asset or equities experience. You absolutely must be a strong programmer and Python is preferred here.

You’re going to be joining a fund where data powers every single thing that they do. Performance is always strong and you will be expected to hit the ground running. Compensation will be based on overall performance and with that in mind, we’re keen to keep it completely open as there is no set budget.

If you’re looking for a complex challenge where you can innovate in the quant space, let’s talk.
