Senior Application Technical Analyst - SITS - London - Permanent
Hybrid Working - this role requires 2 days/week on site
Salary: From £48,251 to £57,061
Senior Application Technical Analyst required for a leading client based in London. My client is currently seeking a Senior Application Technical Analyst to come on board to be responsible and contribute to the direction, design and management of information applications. Drive all aspects of student and staff facing functions within the student record system (SITS).
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Strong Technical Application Analysis experience
Previous experience within the higher education sector (desirable)
Ability to deliver high quality services through developing an application support team
Strong stakeholder communication and management skills
Extensive process modelling and design & improvement skills
Experience with being responsible for the full application and service lifecycle
Deep understanding of enterprise applications and functional processes, such as SITS, Stu-Talk, XML, HTML or Java
Previous experience of developing SITS e-Vision
Strong understanding of student/academic services
Experience with sector applications such as Integration Platforms, SharePoint Infrastructure and Service management Tools
Previous experience working using agile methodology

In this role, you'll be responsible for line management of multi-disciplinary teams (IT Engineering/Logistics) and acting as point of contact for the team responsible for various functions including break fix calls, buffer stock, logistics, shipping and asset removal service. Your responsibilities: Line management of their engineering and logistics team. You will be a team leader, staff mentor. Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop related hardware issues and talk with various teams internally and externally to resolve these issues. Gathering warranty replacement parts with charge for assets and/or fault components within the equipment's warranty period. Produce both defined and AdHoc reports within required timeframes.
