Freelance Solution Architect
For a client based in Ghent, we are seeking a talented Solution Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading a complex software development project, with a focus on integrating Kafka and other cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of a complex software solution, with a focus on Kafka integration
Oversee the work of the in-house team and the client's side, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the highest standards
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and maintainable
Communicate project progress and updates to the client and internal stakeholders
Your Profile:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong background in software architecture and design
Extensive knowledge of Kafka and its applications, including integration with other cloud-based technologies
Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: .NET, Java, or equivalent
Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure is a plus
Fluency in Dutch is a must for this role
