Our friendly Managed Services Provider (MSP) customer, based near Whiteley in Fareham, is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join their talented team. They have a bright future ahead and some great customers and big projects - including a data centre migration just around the corner!

What You'll Be Doing:
Jump into a variety of projects while providing topnotch support for customer networks, from small remote access setups to large-scale enterprise networks.
Work with a wide range of network devices, managing everything from troubleshooting to monitoring systems.
Be part of an expert team handling core MPLS networking infrastructure, mitigating threats, and working with upstream providers.
Lead network changes and upgrades during patching windows (we know you're a night owl!).
Keep our documentation on point for both customer deployments and internal processes.
Your Experience & Skills:
2+ years in an MSP environment.
Solid knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
Handson experience with Firewalls like Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA, or FortiGate.
Familiarity with network tools like Wireshark, PRTG, or SolarWinds.
Experience working with Juniper, Cisco, or Aruba hardware (bonus points if you've dabbled with virtual appliances too!).
Extra (Not Essential)
JNCIAJunos or CCNA certification.
Experience with Cloud Networking or Remote Access Solutions like Cisco AnyConnect.
HPE Aruba WiFi or ClearPass skills.
Data centre experience, including hardware installation and patching.
VMware or Azure virtualisation.

Responsibilities include: Be the subject matter expert on networks within HM Land Registry, taking accountability for design and management of network infrastructure. Provide technical leadership to the practice, working as a Lead Infrastructure Engineering team to provide guidance and technical decision making within BAU and change portfolio deliverables Support HM Land registry Network Infrastructure, encompassing data centres, local offices across England and Wales in addition to cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS and Azure. Use networking skills to continually design and develop the network topology to meet business needs Maintain effective relationships with other practices in order to meet operational requirements and service levels agreements.
