Job Specifications
Quantitative Analyst required by highly technical sports trading firm based in central London. The company have been established for more than 10 years, successfully developing statistical models for in-house services and identifying opportunities for investment.
The successful Quantitative Analyst will work within a well established Quant team analysing very large data sets.
Due to the nature of the business this is mainly an office-based role, with some flexibility when settled into the company.
Experience required:
2+ years’ experience within Quantitative Analysis. Ideally this would be within sports betting/trading but the company are happy to consider traditional finance backgrounds.
Strong education background to at least MSc level in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar
Proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, C#, C++, R, MATLAB
Data Science knowledge would be advantageous but is not required
The company offer a unique opportunity to work in a very interesting sector with a lot of autonomy and scope for increased responsibility in a flat management structure. Any interest in sports would of course be beneficial.
