About the role

This role is a thrilling opportunity to oversee diverse & strategic functions within the marketing team in France, one of our largest and rapidly growing markets.

Reporting to the Marketing Director France, you will oversee our Strategic planning, lead our Loyalty activity and manage our local CRM strategy. You will lead and develop a team of 9 talents. Maintaining an agile and data-driven mindset, you will craft integrated marketing campaigns to deliver against the key performance goals of your scope.

You will have to recognize trends, troubleshoot issues, as well as proactively identify opportunities to drive further growth. You will also have to cross collaborate with diverse functions, including brand, creative, promo, commercial, data science, tech teams across Deliveroo FR and UK, as well as external agencies. You will also play a key role in advocating for our local customer voice to influence central roadmaps.

What you’ll be doing


Strategic planning & Marketing Business Analysis: spearhead our internal marketing strategic planning governance, making sure the whole marketing team is aligned on quarterly business & consumer goals, and remains on track to deliver impactful and consistent marketing plans each quarter. Leverage market data, customer segmentation, customer insights & competitive analysis to provide compelling insights that will help shape our business decisions. Own our monthly business review reportings. Coordinate with other markets on planning and activations.

Loyalty & Partnerships: In collaboration with the UK-based central teams, design & implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow our loyalty programme Deliveroo Plus, one our key company initiatives. You will be in charge of growing our subscriber base, boost engagement & improve retention across our Core Plus proposition, our dedicated Student programme, as well as our Loyalty partnerships.

CRM: lead the CRM team to improve customer engagement & retention and achieve top line growth goals. This includes: developing impactful local CRM programmes through targeting, frequency, content & experiment strategies, partnering with central CRM teams on database growth & scaling lifecycles, monitoring key metrics to identify opportunities for growth, as well as optimizing operational efficiency through automation and internal processes.

Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing team. Nurture talent, recognize strengths and development opportunities, and support pathways to growth. Provide daily guidance and motivation to the team.


What you’ll need to thrive


8-10 years minimum marketing experience leading 360 marketing campaigns

Data-driven, strategic and consumer centric mindset

Superb relationship management skills and an ability to operate across levels

Project management expertise and an ability to seamlessly handle competing demands and prioritize effectively

Growth mindset, bias towards collaboration and strong problem-solving skills

Highly proactive, with an ability to set strategy and operate independently

Excellent written and oral communication skills, in both French and English

Team management experience is required
