Gigamon SME / Network Visibility Engineer - MUST BE DV CLEARED

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Gigamon SME to join a leading team specialising in network visibility and security. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and optimisation of Gigamon environments across both data centre and cloud estates, working closely with network, security, and DevOps teams to drive high performance and security resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
Architect and deploy Gigamon Visibility and Analytics Fabric (VAF) solutions.
Manage and optimise GigaVUE appliances and GigaSMART capabilities (packet slicing, de-duplication, NetFlow generation).
Implement SSL/TLS decryption strategies for encrypted traffic visibility.
Lead deployment of ThreatINSIGHT for Network Detection and Response (NDR).
Design and deliver cloud visibility solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Support seamless integration into SIEM and security monitoring platforms.
Develop detailed installation, configuration, and operational documentation.
Proactively identify service improvements and best practice enhancements.

Essential Skills:
Proven hands-on experience with Gigamon appliances (GigaVUE HC/TA Series).
Strong knowledge of GigaSMART functionality (SSL Decryption, NetFlow/IPFIX).
Deployment of Gigamon Cloud Visibility solutions.
Performance tuning and traffic aggregation experience.
Advanced troubleshooting of networking, packet flows, and visibility fabrics.
Experience integrating Gigamon with security platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Palo Alto, etc.).

Desirable Skills:
Certification in Gigamon (GCP) or equivalent.
Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Ansible, Jenkins, Git).
Experience writing and refining third-party technical documentation.
Ability to challenge and improve third-party designs where necessary.
