About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the automation, deployment, scaling, and management of applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems. Key focus areas include Cloud Technologies, configuration management tools, and scripting in languages such as C# or PowerShell.
Roles and Responsibilities
Exposure to Cloud Technologies: Utilising cloud platforms to design, implement, and optimise applications and infrastructure.
Configuration Management Tools & Automation: Leveraging tools such as Terraform and Desired State Configuration for provisioning and managing cloud-based systems.
Source Control Technologies: Using Azure DevOps, BitBucket, and GitLab for source control management to enable collaborative software development and delivery.
Software Development: Applying your proficiency in C#, PowerShell, and JavaScript to develop scripts and automate processes.
Full Software Development Life Cycle: Demonstrating knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing, and operations to deliver high-quality software.
Learning Orientation: Showing a willingness to learn new technologies and languages to continuously enhance your skill set.
Skills Required
Solid DevOps Engineering experience.
Proficiency with Configuration Management tools like Terraform and Desired State Configuration.
Experience with Cloud Technologies and services, with practical exposure to deployment and scaling.
Familiarity with Source Control Technologies such as Azure DevOps, BitBucket, and GitLab.
Strong understanding of professional software engineering and best practices across the software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in scripting languages, including C#, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
A proactive mindset, with a drive to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
