About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to work on our in-house Charge Point Management System (CPMS) and customer-facing app and web portal. Reporting into the Head of Engineering, this role will be responsible for enhancing these platforms, which are 70% production-ready, to achieve feature parity with the incumbent SaaS solution. Following the migration, the focus will shift toward building innovative features and capabilities to deliver a market-leading platform.
Key Responsibilities
React & TypeScript Development:
Build, maintain, and optimize reusable components using React.js and TypeScript.
Implement scalable solutions with clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
UI/UX Collaboration
Collaborate with designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into functional, responsive interfaces using Tailwind CSS for styling.
Provide feedback to designers on feasibility and suggest enhancements to improve usability.
Testing & Performance Optimization
Write automated tests using tools such as Cypress or Jest to ensure functionality and prevent regressions.
Optimize web applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility across different devices and browsers.
Integration & Support
Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs seamlessly into the frontend.
Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs and performance issues promptly.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies like Remix and best practices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of team workflows and coding standards.
