As a CISOaaS (Chief Information Security Officer as a Service) Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the cybersecurity strategies of a high-profile organisation. This role provides a unique platform to influence security initiatives, protect against dynamic cyber threats, and foster a culture of security excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted security advisor, clarifying requirements and building organisation-wide awareness of cybersecurity risks.
Regularly assess remediation efforts, pinpointing issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
Establish and manage core security functions, facilitating effective communication with the board, executive leadership, and external partners.
Champion cybersecurity awareness programs, supporting training efforts that align colleagues with best practices.
Design and deliver custom training for high-priority audiences, including High Privileged Users and board members.
Address technical cybersecurity inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Must hold certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC, with knowledge of project and change management frameworks (e.g., Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR) being an advantage.
Language Proficiency
Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
Professional Experience
Over 5 years of experience across cybersecurity domains, including Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and security architecture.
Strong analytical skills, able to break down complex issues and derive insights from evidence and assumptions.
Prior experience in financial services is advantageous.
Proficiency in key security areas such as vulnerability management and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
