Job Description

We are seeking an experienced **Data Lead – Reconciliation** to join our team and take ownership of a large-scale data reconciliation initiative, particularly within insurance and financial services environments.

You will lead end-to-end data reconciliation efforts including migration validation, audit trail implementation, and data accuracy assurance, ensuring that both client and internal systems are aligned.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in data migration, reconciliation, and technical leadership, with hands-on expertise in ETL tools, SQL, and legacy system integration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate data reconciliation initiatives across cross-functional teams.
Design and implement reconciliation frameworks to validate complex data migrations.
Perform root cause analysis of data mismatches and ensure resolution across systems.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align business requirements with reconciliation logic.
Guide teams (on-site and nearshore) in technical implementation of data quality controls.
Build documentation, dashboards, and reports for audit trails and reconciliation processes.
Support post-migration validation and continuous improvement in data integrity workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in data migration, reconciliation, or related fields.
Strong SQL skills and proficiency with SQl-tools
Demonstrated leadership in managing data teams and complex data projects.
Deep domain expertise in Life Insurance or Financial Services is a must.
Experience with ETL processes, data validation, error debugging, and reporting.
Strong communication skills in French (Native/Bilingual) and English (Professional Working).

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a project leader or technical lead in a data-intensive migration program.
Familiarity with data visualization tools
Exposure to document digitalization or archive transformation projects.

The applications domains are diverse, ranging from AI for science, over AI for semiconductor process technologies to automotive and health applications. Within this department, the HPC/AI group focuses on high performance computing techniques to scale up a wide range of AI approaches, ranging from large-scale unsupervised clustering over recommender systems to novel hybrid AI methods. We analyze and implement AI and hybrid AI solutions in the context of hardware/software codesign where we investigate bottlenecks and then solve them at algorithmic, implementation and/or hardware level, in close collaboration with imec’s architecture and technology groups.
