Dataiku specialist / platform engineer:
Description of Deliverables:
- Build and maintain our DS platform, Dataiku (including AWS deployment).
- Define and implement best practices for Dataiku usage and governance (DSS, automation nodes).
- Promote the usage of Dataiku and assist our citizen data scientists via internal channels.
- Analyze, propose and implement improvement activities, with special focus on automation and standardization.
- Oversee the activities of our dedicated support team.
- Work with cloud, DBA, infrastructure and operations teams to ensure maintainability and usability of our DS workbench platform.
- Collaborate with our Data science and MLOps teams to effectively move ML pipelines from prototype to production.
- Collaborate with our data governance, data architects, data engineers and EA teams for larger data related activities.

We are looking for a person capable of:
- Acting as the technical SME of Dataiku, and drive the execution of critical activities in the platform.
- Defining and applying best practices consistently within the Dataiku platform.
- Detecting opportunities for automation, and develop them.
- Explaining Dataiku capabilities to non-technical profiles while engaging in technical conversations with engineers and data scientists.
- Staying up-to-date on modern data platform and automation trends.
- Working individually on smaller deliveries, but also able to participate in larger deliveries as part of a team.
- Raising impediments and seeking support if needed.
- Actively suggesting improvement opportunities (both technical & process).
- Creating concise & meaningful documentation of policies, best practices, and architectures. and architectures.
- Learning new technologies quickly.
Technical and methodical skills sought:
- You are a tenacious problem solver, with great customer focus and passionate about data platforms and automation.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working as data platform technical expert of MLOps role.
- Experience working on Dataiku, preferably as a power user or administrator, with strong experience in workflow optimization.
- Good understanding of automation techniques and integration with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring techniques and key metrics for platform performance.
- Excellent programming skills (Python) and familiarity with common DevOps tools (Git, Terraform).
- Good understanding of AWS infrastructure and deployment practices (IaC tools, such as Terraform are considered a big plus).
- Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse environment.
- Strong communication skills.
