Role:Desktop Support Engineer
Length:12+ month engagement
Location:Slough - 3/4 days per week
IR35 Status:Inside IR35
Pay Rate:£150 - £200 per day
One of my global pharmaceutical clients are currently looking for a Desktop Support Engineer. They are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join them on-site with travel to site in Slough 3/4 days per week. This engagement will run initially for a 12+ month engagement - this does have a view to extend beyond this date.
Key Requirements:
Strong experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
Experience working with Microsoft/Windows technologies
2nd/3rd line support experience
Experience with Active Directory
Prior experience with Routers and Switches
Ticketing experience with ServiceNow
Good experience with PowerShell
Ability to travel to site in Slough 3/4 days per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and evolving the clients AWS cloud infrastructure and ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EKS Services, AWS services, automation tools, and DevOps practices. The client is looking for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys problem-solving, and has a collaborative mindset.
