Business System Analyst/ Technical Business Analyst
Location: London/Dubai
Contract: 6 months rolling
I am currently working with a leading financial market firm seeking a Business System Analyst
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of legacy monitoring platforms, mapping out their architecture, technical components, and migration pathways.
Work hand-in-hand with engineers and product owners to document the current system landscape and define future-state requirements via comprehensive user stories.
Support estimation activities, identify roadblocks, and explore alternative solutions to facilitate a seamless migration. Constructively challenge proposed approaches to ensure technical soundness.
Investigate technical challenges, collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot, and contribute to resolving issues efficiently. Document technical solutions clearly to aid in implementation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and long-term reference.
Skills & Experience
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to reverse-engineer systems and extract insights from fragmented sources. Able to produce detailed documentation with minimal guidance.
Confident working with technical documentation and learning new tools or systems independently.
Skilled at bridging communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Prior exposure to infrastructure or application monitoring—especially across cloud and on-premise environments—is highly advantageous.
Comfortable working in agile teams and across distributed, cross-functional environments.
