A financial trading house is optimising their Linux infrastructure and are looking for a highly experienced Linux Engineer to play a key role in systems engineering and integration for the infrastructure design, build and implementing.
You will deep knowledge of Linux build, integration, and engineering, with secondary expertise in one of high-performance computing, storage, or networking, as well as a strong understanding contemporary containerised, infrastructure-as-code technologies, to play a key role in the build of a sophisticated, highly performant, and highly optimized infrastructure.
You should apply for this role if you are/have:
15+ years systems, infrastructure and/or platform engineering in financial markets or other critical environments
Deep understanding of Unix/Linux systems engineering to Kernel level, for high performance/low latency requirements
Strong systems design and optimisation, low latency turning and/or GPU processing
Strong automation and/or containerisation in in Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes and similar tools
Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, and Python; C++ desirable but not required
Platform engineering / site reliability engineering experience preferred
Degree educated or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
This is a £600-£650/day contract role (dependent on experience), based London, initially for six months. Hybrid working.

A trading house are building a new authentication and access management capability and have an opportunity for an experienced Linux engineer with a strong security lens to build out foundational elements of the platform.
This is full lifecycle design, build, implement activity, for someone with a strong understanding of secure Linux builds, identity/access management for on-prem and cloud-based systems, and be able to solution based on a strong understanding of HashiCorp Vault, industry standard secure authentication protocols, containerised and automated infrastructure-as-code architectures, and DevSecOps methodologies
15+ years systems or security engineering experience in Linux-based environment
Deep understanding of identity and access management, and authentication
Strong understanding of HashiCorp vault (ideally implementation from scratch)
Strong understanding of secure authentication protocols (Kerberos, LDAP)
Excellent communication, teamwork, documentation and stakeholder skills
Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution
This is a £650-750/day role based London initially for six months (inside IR35).

A leading quantitative technology-driven firm is building a next-generation Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability to underpin its global infrastructure. They are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer with deep Linux expertise and a security-first mindset to play a critical role in designing and deploying this new authentication and authorization platform.
You will join a newly established security engineering function and take ownership of foundational elements of a greenfield IAM architecture. This role involves full lifecycle responsibility — from design and implementation to operationalisation — of secure identity systems and automated infrastructure components.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong background in systems or security engineering within Linux-centric environments
Expert-level understanding of IAM concepts and architecture
Hands-on experience deploying and managing HashiCorp Vault (preferably from scratch)
Familiarity with Kerberos, LDAP, and other secure authentication mechanisms
Experience with containerised environments and automation tooling (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration abilities
