We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our IT team here at Harrods. You will support all day-to-day operational activities while working hands-on as part of the team.

About The Role

As the Dev Ops Engineer you will work closely with the other functions within Digital Technology, you will align with the development lifecycle to support the effective delivery of new functionality and projects.

You will also;

Manage, monitor and maintain all monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms, ensuring that the systems are monitored, and alerts efficiently tuned
Ensure that all change activity is tracked, and risk assessed with mitigations defined, and approved
Create and maintain user and technical documentation
Maintain/Triage incidents/requests in Harrods ITSM tool and work Queue

About You

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud technologies, particularly the Azure platform, deploying highly available, scalable, and resilient applications and infrastructure. It is important that you have hands-on Experience with CI/CD tools (ideally Azure DevOps Pipelines).

You will also have the following;

Experience in delivering within an Agile, SCRUM, or Kanban methodology
Scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, Python, or TypeScript
Experience and Knowledge of .NET Development
Knowledge of database maintenance, administration, and performance optimization concepts
Knowledge of web and serverless Azure technologies, including Web Apps, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps (SaaS, PaaS solutions)
