Lead DevSecOps Engineer – Retail - AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Security

Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a Lead Level DevSecOps Engineer to join a fast growing Retail company, with hubs across Europe, as part of a transformation period across the tech team following the spin up of a new platform team, and will involve a wealth of greenfield work across Cloud, Container, Infrastructure and Security technologies.

Having grown their tech team organically, they’re now looking for a Lead level Engineer to take ownership of their DevSecOps / Infrastructure function, to drive, scale, and build out DevOps and Security best practices across the broader tech team. Security is at the heart of what they do, so integrating a security first approach into their DevOps way of working is also a particular focus at this moment in time.

To be considered, experience with the following is required:

Minimum ~3-4 years in DevSecOps focused positions
Strong experience with AWS Cloud (and AWS services)
Prior experience migrating from On-Prem to Cloud
Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong history of working with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
Work across Automation, Python, CI/CD and Monitoring technologies
Strong knowledge of Security / DevSecOps tools and practices
Experience mentoring and managing engineers

This role can offer £90-100K, and is primarily remote from the UK, but will require monthly travel to their offices across Europe (including Romania, Bulgaria and Moldova). Note, this travel can be expensed.
