Job Description:
Harvey Nash's public sector client is looking for a Compliance and Assurance Manager. You will embrace and govern the compliance and use of the Agile LOAD framework, ensuring standardisation of approach by all 5 Change LABS.
The responsibility of the Compliance and Assurance Manager is to promote the pace and value output of change being delivered by LABs and support the LAB Leads in their role of marketing the effectiveness of their LAB. Undertake audits of all governance collateral needed to ensure current status is always known. Ensure gating through the LOAD framework is tested and ready for each of the stages between ideation and hand over to BAU.
Key Responsibilities
Be an ambassador for cascading and embedding the use of the LOAD framework in Labs and the wider community
Champion, mentor, train and support roles within the Lab on understanding the LOAD framework
Collate, ready for presentation all of the necessary collateral needed for preparing the Gateway assessments within Labs
Facilitate the preparation and maintenance of the collateral for the Authority to Proceed Packs (ATPs) for each work stream as they move through the LOAD Framework
Maintain Lab RAID log and escalate actions
Contribute to the maintenance of Finance Workbook
Manage the Resource demand and utilisation of the Project Support Officers
Facilitation and weekly/daily stand-ups and ad hoc meetings where required.
Quality Assurance of work stream documents
Along with PSO ensure templates are regularly reviewed and updated
Actively participate in all " Community of Practice" meetings and events (PMO)
Understanding Value and measurement of Value
Drive through Benefits Management and realisation
Understand Dev Opps, having the ability to offer support to LAB team members and the capability of generating reports as required.
Understand the relevant change LAB data, explore and innovate ways of presentation to communicate with impact
Understand business vision and Value targeted of the LAB
Value measures and weighting
Pace, timing and business expectation
Time dependent enablers and attached value impacts
Understand LOAD and Gateway process and documentation
Lead through example and maintain and build the appropriate agile culture and values to enable business agility.

Security products (email filtering, AV, Firewalls, WAFs, MS Defender)
Security Testing (SAST, DAST)
Virtualisation platforms and operating systems, including Hyper-V and Windows Server.
Enterprise Systems (email, PKI, AD, GP, SCCM, Azure, M365)
Application platforms (MS Dynamics, Power Platform)
Cloud platforms (Azure)
The initial business system to be developed with utilise Azure, the Power Platform and MS Dynamics
Skills Required
Good experience in embedding governance within team
Good people and communication skills
Ability to improvise and adapt
Work to deadline and mange workload to prioritise
Act as the "go to" person within Labs for LOAD, Gateway and RAID questions and guidance
Explain his/her area of expertise clearly to others
Not only answer why things are done, but how
Confident report builder using available report building tools
Desirable Skills
The candidate will have an awareness of Digital First Service Standards, Government Digital Services (GDS) and the Scottish Approach to Service Design
Worked in Agile delivery environments previously
Understand the language/terms/jargon in their assigned LAB
Previous experience using Devops and SharePoint
