Role Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing individual to join a leading Cyber Security team as a Lead Cyber Security Architect. This is a critical role in an organization that plays a significant role in national security. The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to the protection of vital assets, ensuring robust security measures, and maintaining awareness of emerging cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the development of Cyber Capability.
Providing technical security input into information system designs.
Staying up to date with industry developments and recommending the adoption of new cyber security capabilities.
Reviewing and contributing to both high- and low-level solution designs to ensure security architecture compliance and efficacy of security tools.
Identifying, managing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities within project delivery.
Advising senior management on security control implementations.
Evaluating the effectiveness of security elements and suggesting corrective actions where required.
Taking on other duties as necessary in line with business needs.
Accountability:
Providing expert subject matter advice to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and relevant stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Experience working in a highly secure environment.
Proven experience applying security concepts to complex enterprise solutions.
Expertise in cloud architecture.
Previous experience in Security Assurance and Security Architecture.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams simultaneously.
An understanding of how to deliver successfully in a regulated environment.
