Position: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Contract Type:12 months contract + Extension
Consol Partner's is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for our client that is in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Develop and implement Master Data Management (MDM) and Metadata Management strategies.
Ensure high-quality, secure data analysis, moving from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics. Oversee the full data life cycle: collection, modelling, visualization, and reporting, while addressing the needs of stakeholders.
Data Engineering:
Lead the migration of on-premise and future data to the Azure Cloud data platform, utilizing available cloud services and commercial solutions in line with security policies and architecture.
Design, implement, and manage robust data pipelines (batch and Real Time), ensuring efficient data collection, storage, processing, and integration.
Provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights through the creation of Visual Tools and dashboards, particularly using Power BI.
Architect scalable and secure data solutions that support organisational growth and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Expertise in building and automating data workflows (batch and Real Time).
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud data platforms and security
Advanced data collection, processing, and architectural design skills
Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
