Tasks:
Collaborate with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather and document data requirements.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and user needs to define clear and comprehensive data requirements.
Perform data analysis translating the needs into reports and visualisations.
Work closely with data architects and database developers to design and model data structures that align with business requirements.
Translate business requirements to a business case, describing As Is vs To Be and providing a Fit-Gap analysis.


Knowledge and Skills:
Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in the context of reporting and data visualization.
Proven experience understanding complex information systems and data flows.
Ability to analyse complex business processes and understand the underlying data requirements.
Deep understanding of the business domain and industry to translate business requirements into data solutions.
Strong capacity in preparing and documenting clear and comprehensive business requirements.
Familiarity with relevant technologies such as data integration tools, reporting tools and database management systems.

Consol Partner's are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeler to join their client's dynamic team within the banking sector. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining their data warehouse environment, translating business needs into robust and scalable data solutions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of data modelling principles, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Analyse business requirements and design effective data solutions.
Develop logical and physical data models to support proposed solutions.
Conduct impact analyses and create technical specifications for coding.
Propose and implement improvements to existing processes, including the utilization of our ETL tool.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and processes, staying abreast of industry best practices and contributing to team development.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data modelling or similar roles.
Excellent knowledge of Data Vault modelling and 3NF modeling.
Good understanding of dimensional modelling.
Strong SQL skills.
Significant experience in Data Warehouse environments.
