Job Description:
Key skills - Microsoft Active Directory/DNS/BIND/domain controller
Ideal candidate is someone with 4+ years' experience as an Active Directory Engineer/Consultant.
There are two requirement of this role. Domain Controller upgrade and DNS consolidation.
Must have considerable experience working with Active Directory and upgrading domain controllers in a large multi-domain environment, spread across several regions.
Must be able to complete the work with minimal hand holding.
Must have considerable experience working with BIND and Windows DNS. The DNS work will involve consolidation of DNS zones and relocation to new Servers and providers.
Must be able to complete the work with minimal hand holding.
They will be working with various stakeholders so need to be proactive and a good communicator.
Engagement term would be for 6 months and dependent on work may be a view to extend for a further few months.
Preference is Newcastle based resource but are open to UK or nearshore resources who can work the same time zone.
