Job Title: Pension System Calculation & Data Analyst
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Location: London

Our client is currently looking for a Pension System Calculation and Data Analyst to join a high-performing team on a contract basis, with hybrid working – ideally one day per week in the London office (flexible).
In this role, you’ll support the Pension & Reward Operations Manager with the development and maintenance of the Altair Pension Administration System, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of member data, benefit calculations, workflows, and reporting. You'll play a key role in data processing, testing system enhancements, and supporting ongoing pension-related projects.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop pension admin systems and ensure accuracy of records and calculations.
Assist with system testing, workflow and letter development, and issue resolution.
Conduct monthly payroll/HR reconciliations and keep systems up to date.
Work on key data projects such as pension dashboards, scheme extracts, and member statements.
Produce interfaces for external vendors and resolve processing queries.
Support membership updates and contribution reconciliations.
Deliver MI reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential:
Strong knowledge of UK pension arrangements.
Experience working with pension administration systems (Altair experience a plus).
Solid understanding of manual pension benefit calculations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SQL (Advanced level).
Excellent communication skills and a high level of numeracy.
Team player with a flexible attitude and commitment to deadlines.
