Nature Of The Tasks

Design and implement digital identity solutions and trust frameworks using decentralized identifiers (DID) and verifiable credentials (VC).

Ensure the security, privacy, and interoperability of digital identity systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and standards for identity management.

Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices for digital identity and trust.

Monitor and assess emerging trends and technologies in the field of digital identity. 57

Follow up and coordinate all efforts on design, implementation, and operations of systems from a cryptographic perspective in terms of implementation of electronic certificates, distributed/sovereign identities, attestable attributes, and verifiable credentials.

Propose use cases and models of utilization of these technologies to maximize their added value.

Conduct impact assessments on the application of solutions and provide advice during pilots on the technology.

Provide information, training, and communication on the technologies involved, helping TAXUD understand the benefits and pitfalls.

Support procurement and contract management activities from a cryptographic perspective.

Ensure compliance with necessary security requirements from the perspective of data sovereignty, cybersecurity, confidentiality, integrity, etc.

Identify and propose mitigation actions to avoid security incidents
