About The Role
Location: Longley Lane, Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: To £55,005, inclusive of shift allowance (Depending upon experience)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Nights, 18:00-06:00

About The Role
What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?
Taking lead of all mechanical tasks and offering support for electrical issues when required, ensuring all plant machinery meet regulatory requirements.
Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
Planned maintenance to follow schedule for conveyors, ECS’, Balers, compactors, shredders, gearboxes, motors etc.
Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns.
Travelling to other sites in the area when required.
Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.
What are the requirements?
NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent.
18th edition qualification- or willingness to complete within 3 months of starting.
Previous experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mobile plant equipment etc.
Welding/Fabrication experience.
