Data Protection Project Administrator
Location: 6 Month FTC Remote (with 2 visits per month to Keynsham, Bristol)
Purpose of the Role:
To support the Group-wide Data Protection Uplift Project, covering the UK, Ireland, EU, and Canada. This role involves tracking and managing various project activities, with a focus on identifying issues and ensuring compliance with new data protection policies, cookies, consent tracking, and other data privacy requirements across Group websites.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the Uplift Team and IT teams in each country to implement new registration, privacy policies, cookie policies, and consent pop-ups across all IVC Evidensia Group websites in the UK, EEA, and Canada.
Provide accurate tracking and logging of local requirements, troubleshooting, and preparing reports as needed.
Collaborate with the DP Uplift team, including IT, DP Compliance, and Legal teams, in a collegial and proactive manner.
Assist the Uplift Team with various general Data Protection requirements, including retention programs, ROPA (Record of Processing Activities), Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), anonymisation/pseudonymisation, and analytics workstream implementation.
Experience/Qualifications:
Essential:
Strong IT skills and a solid understanding of website development.
Experience and understanding of data protection (GDPR) and general compliance practices.
Familiarity with GDPR cookies and consent management tools, particularly OneTrust.
Ability to quickly learn, identify key stakeholders across the business, and communicate clearly and effectively.
High level of written accuracy, clear communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.
Ability to perform basic risk assessments, root cause analysis, and explain/recommend actions to business stakeholders.
Experience with website development and testing, and maintaining spreadsheets and logs.
Desirable:
Experience with FMCG or other B2C website development and management.
Experience with OneTrust or other privacy management software.
Background in telecoms, technology, or other tech industries is a plus.
Proficiency in European languages such as Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese.

Calibrate with geo‑tests, holdouts and causal‑impact checks. Turn outputs into dashboards and optimisation scenarios; brief media buyers on re‑allocations.
