Job Description
Job Title: Compliance Support (Fixed-Term)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Support professional to join our team for a fixed-term contract (6-9 months) in order to cover a colleague on sick leave. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with some compliance experience to step into a supportive, dynamic environment and assist with a variety of compliance-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Money Support & Business Monitoring/Administration:
Maintain reporting and data collection for compliance purposes.
Ensure compliance with HMRC and banking regulations.
Train staff on policies and procedures related to AML, cash management, cash security, and full cash and stock reconciliation.
Conduct financial and counterparty due diligence and monitor any associated risks.
Review monthly reports from vessels, escalate discrepancies, and assist in investigations of unbalanced floats and incorrect reporting.
Review suspicious activity reports from vessels and escalate to the Compliance Officer as necessary.
Onboard Gaming Support:
Handle gaming refund requests and monitor customer service related to gaming issues.
Organize and escalate gaming claims requiring Head Office approval.
Provide training to staff to ensure adherence to responsible gaming policies.
Review monthly gaming reports and escalate discrepancies.
Other Compliance Support:
Manage whistleblowing cases and ensure proper reporting.
Support the rollout of training and communications on compliance and governance topics.
Provide advisory support on best practices regarding procedures such as PCI, GDPR, and ABC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption).
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally, some experience with compliance, with a focus on areas such as AML, gaming, or financial monitoring.
Preferably, an ICA (International Compliance Association) qualification or a similar certification, indicating the correct mindset for compliance work.
Some experience in the gaming industry is beneficial.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Working Arrangement:
Fully remote with periodic visits to Greater London; or
Partially remote with 2 days a week in Greater London.
