PLC Engineer - Ghent Region - Permanent Position
My client in the automation machine building industry, focused on the manufacturing of machines for high pressure applications, are looking for an engineer with a passion for PLC programming to join their site in Ghent.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement PLC programs to control manufacturing machinery and automated systems.
Install & commission machines on site for clients.
Develop and maintain HMI applications for monitoring and controlling production processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues, such as communication errors, hardware failures, and software bugs.
Provide technical support to production personnel and maintenance teams to optimise machinery performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
A first experience in automation or PLC programming, preferably in machinery manufacturing or industrial automation, is a bonus.
Hands-on experience with Tia Portal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Dutch & English fluency is required.
