IT Manager required for a leading client based in Central London. As an IT Manager you will oversee the seamless operation of our clients IT systems, ensuring they run effectively within set requirements, specifications, budgets, and deadlines. Your role includes maintaining system and network availability and reliability, managing technology vendors, and supporting the implementation of new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities -
Monitor and ensure that third-party providers meet their contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
Contribute to the development and upkeep of internal IT documentation.
Manage and maintain all components of the clients infrastructure and services.
Collaborate with partners to support and enhance the company's infrastructure and network.
Assist in the adoption and transition to new technologies.
Serve as an escalation point for the support team, providing assistance with complex support inquiries as needed.
Participate in the design, implementation, documentation, and deployment of IT projects.
Regularly update and maintain project plans to reflect current progress.
Key skills -
Proven experience in a similar IT or technology-focused role.
Previous experience in a supervisory or people management role.
Skilled in managing third-party providers to deliver technology services effectively.
Experience in overseeing cybersecurity measures.
Proficiency with Microsoft systems and software, including M365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Autopilot.
Managing supplier relationships
Skilled in managing and monitoring service metrics and KPIs across diverse services with the ability to report at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Technical skills-
Certified in Microsoft 365 and/or Azure Administration.
ITIL 4 certification.
Experience in managing IT projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Entity/Entra (Azure).
Knowledge of CIS/NIST IT security standards.
Familiarity with several of the following areas:
LAN/WAN products and protocols
Web and Internet technologies
Desktop and server hardware
Network equipment, including MikroTik, switches, and access points
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
SharePoint
