About the Role
As a GTM (Go-To-Market) Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of how we scale and accelerate revenue. This is a high-impact, strategic role where you'll architect, automate, and fine-tune the systems that power our go-to-market engine. Sitting at the crossroads of revenue strategy, operations, and cutting-edge technology, you’ll build scalable solutions that turn ideal customer profiles into predictable, repeatable growth.
You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams—Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product—to design data-driven workflows, improve operational efficiency, and ensure we're always a step ahead in how we reach and win customers. We value collaboration here at Matillion, so ideally we would love you to work hybrid (2 days a week) from our Manchester offices, but can accommodate remote working with occasional travel for the right person.
What you'll be doing
Build repeatable, scalable, and AI-driven systems to streamline prospecting, demand generation, outbound sales, expansion and retention sales motions in coordination with the Enterprise Selling Teams.
Leverage AI and automation tools – Implement and optimise workflows using next generation GTM tools to improve sales efficiency
Run data-driven GTM experiments – Identify and test new strategies for customer acquisition, activation, and pipeline growth through rigorous experimentation and iteration
Create automated workflows and systems that scale revenue operations
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams – Drive alignment across functions to maximise pipeline generation and GTM efficiency
What we are looking for
Expertise in modern GTM AI tech stack (e.g., Clay, Regie.ai, UnifyGTM, CommonRoom, Keyplay, Rb2b, etc.)
Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data analysis and experimentation
Proven track record of building and optimising revenue-generating systems
Experience with automation tools and ability to create scalable workflows
Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and strategic communication
Background in revenue operations, growth, or similar technical GTM roles
At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £51,480 - £77,220, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
