We are seeking a dynamic technology leader to join our GCP Platform team as a GCP Sr Architect. This role will be pivotal in building and delivering GCP cloud capabilities and solutions to internal and external clients ensuring the successful transformation of legacy platforms and workloads into robust, scalable, and modern cloud-based workloads and services. Reporting to Director of GCP Platform, this role will be responsible for leading development, sales, solution and delivery of GCP Cloud capabilities. You will lead a team of Sr. Cloud Architects and Engineers to build and deliver GCP Cloud platform capabilities ensuring high availability, security and efficiency for our customers. This role will be accountable for ensuring delivery excellence and providing thought leadership to Our customer's executive and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:
GCP Platform Strategy and Development:
In this role, you will lead development of GCP Cloud Modernization offerings for customer's Cloud-native and Cloud-agnostic needs focused on accelerated public cloud adoption. This includes but is not limited to use-cases such as cloud foundations, cloud migration at scale, modern container platforms, infrastructure automation, GCP Cloud services adoption, GCP Cloud security, GCP DevSecOps etc.
Technical Expertise:
You will leverage your in-depth expertise in GCP public cloud platform and its services, staying updated on the latest advancements on tools and services available in the market, and guiding the team in applying best practices to build offering that can be delivered to customer at scale.

Go-to-market Strategy:
You will be responsible for developing and managing GCP Platform capabilities go-to-market strategy and prioritization.

Innovation and Best Practices:
As a leader of the GCP program, you are required to drive innovation and the adoption of best practices in GCP cloud adoption, ensuring our solutions are at the forefront of industry standards.
GCP Platform Sales & Solutioning:
In this role, you will partner with TGS Sales team to engage with TEKsystems customers to understand their technical challenges and provide expert solution and architectural pathways to achieve modernization goals. You will work closely with customer leadership, solution architects and sales to ensure right solution is provided to solve customer needs.

Solution Oversight & Ownership:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will be responsible for GCP offerings Go-to-market strategy and will be held accountable for providing oversight during presales cycle ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.

Sales Collaboration:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will partner with TEKsystems Sales team to provide guidance on GTM strategy and customer communications.

GCP Platform Service Delivery
In this role, you will work closely and lead TEKsystems delivery teams to ensure customer engagements are delivered seamlessly achieving intended business value. You will provide technical direction as required to delivery teams on customer engagement.

Technical Governance & Oversight:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will be responsible for providing oversight to delivery teams and will play crucial role in managing customer expectations and escalations if any.

Delivery Enablement:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will design and build delivery enablement artifacts enabling delivery teams to deliver outcomes faster and in an efficient manner
Lead delivery/execution projects as required.

Team Leadership:
Leadership & Mentoring:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will be responsible to lead, mentor and manage a team of GCP architects and engineers, mentoring them in their career journey

Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will be responsible for fostering collaboration, continuous learning and excellence within the team.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
As a GCP Sr Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define modernization strategies and roadmaps, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master's, Ph.D.) are preferred.

Professional Experience:
Relevant professional experience in GCP cloud architecture, design and development
Experience in GCP Cloud architect and or equivalent roles
Proven Experience leading Cloud teams in a management or team lead role
GCP cloud migration experience is required
Experience in IT consulting and IT services organizations

Cloud Platforms and Technology Experience:
Expertise and in-depth knowledge of GCP Services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Cloud Storage and Networking
Experience with Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible
Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks like ITIL
Experience with DevOps tools and deployment patterns
Strong understanding of High Availability and Multi Region Architectures
Hands on experience in Application Migrations to GCP
Proven scripting experience in languages like python, go, etc...
Deep understanding of Agile methodology

Leadership Skills:
Previous leadership experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Learning & Collaboration:
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies in Cloud and Cloud services.
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and address their data-related needs.

Certifications:
Minimum of 1 active professional level certifications in GCP
