Job Description
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible as part of a team for day-to-day management of the SQL Estate including ensuring service availability for all SQL Services, fully operational Failover Clusters and Availability.
Responsible as part of a team for the Database backups and restorations in line with contractual requirements.
Follow policies, standards, procedures and rules in order to administer the database environment
Management of SQL Monitoring, DB Performance and Stability to minimise any database downtime
Build SQL Servers \ Services in accordance to end users information needs.
Test, and administer database security procedures and recovery procedures
Liaise directly with the customer to resolve issues in a timely manner.
In addition to the above duties and responsibilities the post holder must be prepared to undertake such additional duties which may result from changing circumstances, but which may not of necessity change the general character or level of responsibility to the post.

Qualifications
Skills and qualities required:
Excellent SQL Server Knowledge with regards to the administration and troubleshooting of SQL Server implementations within an enterprise environment – SQL Server 2008 and above.
Excellent skills in stored procedures, replication, and query tuning
Experience leading projects with the ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, and resource demands simultaneously
Must have demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable communicating with upper management, vendors, and customers
Ability to work within a complex, competitive and continuously changing environment
Ability to build effective relationships quickly with relevant business functions and key stakeholders
Good working knowledge of Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2008 and above)
Good working knowledge of a backup technology
Good working knowledge of incident, problem and change management
A working knowledge of general networking (e.g. routing, firewall dependencies)

A key skill is learning and understanding country specific terminology, which ensures the same data is identified handled consistently from country to country. JOB PROFILE As part of a team based at the HQ of Creditsafe, the successful candidate would be required to assist with the mapping of data into a global data services API solution. The primary responsibilities will involve the analysis of new/existing data sets, identifying common elements, data mapping, testing and dealing with data queries. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Mapping of data elements from various sources, including XML and JSON, and AWS S3 into common structures and enumerations used in our reports and other products. Maintaining mapping documentation and specifying rules and conditions for consistent data handling. Updating data dictionary definitions, based on investigation and dissemination of partner documentation and products. Data testing including comparing content between “raw” and “mapped” data services, and ensuring rules/transformations provide expected results. Working with extended teams maintaining a working relationship with them. Investigation and resolution of data queries from internal or external customers. The responsibilities detailed above are not exhaustive and you may be requested to take on additional responsibilities deemed as reasonable by their direct line manager. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS MS Office or equivalent (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access etc.). Databases with an understanding of how they are updated and maintained. Data Analysis skills to query databases (e.g. SQL, AWS Redshift). Communication software experience (e.g. E-mail, MS Teams etc). Internet, Intranet, Share Point etc. A high level of mathematical ability. The ability to analyse, model and interpret data. Problem-solving skills. Research of country specific data and terminology.
