Job Summary – highlight project details/what is exciting about the role :

We’re looking for a Backend Engineers with JAVA AWS skills who will take a key role on our team. Our developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development.
2. Key Responsibilities – list what the person will be doing on a day to day basis:
1. Good Understanding of Design concepts.
2. Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
3. Experience with common design and architectural patterns coupled with a passion for writing clean code that is performant and well tested
4. Maintain code integrity and organization.
5. Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
6. Highly experienced with back-end programming languages Core Java 11,JDBC, Microservices, REST Web Services, Spring Framework, Kafka, AWS
7. Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
8. Following and advocating best coding practices, continuous delivery and code reviews
9. Experience working with relational and non-relational databases

Essential Skills:
Extensive expereicce in Java 11 and above, Spring Framework, MVC, JDBC, Hibernate,Rest Microservices/API’s, Cloud API’s, AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, terraform etc)
Extensive Experince in Backend Development using Oracle PL/SQL / NoSQL Databases

Nice to Have Skills.
1. Good understanding of CI/CD framework and build automation
2. Good understanding about Agile methodologies and practices
3. Analytical and reasoning skills and
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills and

Qualifications:
Expert in CORE Java 11 and above
Thorough understanding of Java EE architecture and Design Patterns, Spring Framework
Experience writing RESTful web services
Experience on commonly used AWS services like Lambda, EKS, EC2 etc.
Experience on writing Automation Testscripts using Selenium / CuCumber
Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS database design
Have spent time as part of an agile development team (preferably Scrum).

Are you happy to work a 6 month FTC and are available immediately? The company are a leading FinTech Software Company, experience huge growth and with a reputation for being a market leader. Following significant investment they are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead on an exciting CRM transformation project as they look to implement HubSpot across the business. This is a critical, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring a smooth rollout and adoption of HubSpot CRM, aligning it with their business processes and goals. Currently the business are using their own purpose built in-house CRM & CSM software so it will be migrating from this to HubSpot. You will need to have proven experience of managing CRM migration projects with a solid understanding of marketing, sales, and customer service workflows in an SMB environment. Prior experience of HubSpot is highly preferred however experience of other CRM systems will be considered. Ideally you will be able to commute to their Reading office 1 – 2 days a week however they will also consider somebody fully remote if you have experience specifically with HubSpot projects. This role combines hands-on engineering with close collaboration with clinical and operational stakeholders to design, develop and deliver data-driven applications that improve care outcomes. Develop and maintain pipelines, ontology objects, and operational dashboards using Palantir’s ontology and Foundry platform.
