Security Analyst
Security Analyst - DV/SC/SOC/Threat/Security/Cyber/Analyst £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + attractive benefits, on-site Wiltshire.

As a Security Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the organisation's security. Your skills and expertise will make a significant impact in safeguarding the company from cyber threats and ensuring the overall protection of their systems.

This is the perfect role for someone who has experience working in a SOC (security operations centre), threat analyst, or security analyst role within a secure environment. If you have a strong understanding of network security principles, including access control, data loss prevention, behavioural analytics, and Firewalls, this position will be an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
* Utilise SIEM (security information and event management) and other security monitoring or threat detection tools to identify and analyse potential security threats.
* Conduct intelligence analysis to assess the organisation's position within the threat landscape.
* Develop and maintain scripts in languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
* Collaborate with the team to analyse high-level security incidents and conduct proactive security design for clients.
* Utilise forensic tools for data mining and research to support investigations into various security cases.
* Produce high-level reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

Requirements:
* Solid written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to work on a shift pattern.
* Active SC clearance with eligibility for DV clearance.
