This company is seeking an experienced ATA32 Engineer to join their team. As an ATA32 Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving top/recurring issues affecting the Landing Gear products in-service across the company's aircraft fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify top/recurring issues affecting the Landing Gear products in-service, in collaboration with the In-Service Engineering Department
- Conduct engineering studies to understand the root causes of these issues and propose solutions, which may include equipment redesign
- Respond to reactive queries from the In-Service Engineering department to help limit the time customers' aircraft are grounded due to Landing Gear equipment failure
- Handle customers' requests for Technical Publication updates and/or clarification
- Develop engineering solutions or studies to provide ready-to-use material to the company's customer-facing teams, reducing the impact of in-service operational interruptions
- Continuously grow your technical skills and knowledge about Landing Gear products to become autonomous in your tasks
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant experience in structural analysis and mechanical skills within the landing gear field
- Familiarity with hydro-mechanical systems and wheels/brakes experience is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes and propose effective solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn and expand your technical expertise in Landing Gear systems
