Team: Messenger Web Communications (React-based development)
Reporting to: Directly to team lead
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the Messenger Web Communications team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining core messaging features for Messenger on the web. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop features for Messenger on web using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Lead end-to-end feature development, from design to deployment.
Ensure the web experience is high-performance, scalable, and accessible.
Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and implement solutions.
Identify and resolve issues to improve the development process and product performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience in UI development with React, HTML, and CSS.
Proven ability to build large-scale web applications.
Strong background in JavaScript and front-end performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with React and building reusable, high-performance UI components.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
