About the role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service.

As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our internal staff, managing network issues, and maintaining on-premise infrastructure. You will also have exposure to cloud platforms and ideally Dynamics 365.

Your role will involve:

Network Support: Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues to ensure smooth operation.
Internal Staff Support: Taking calls from internal staff and providing timely and effective technical assistance.
On-Premise Infrastructure: Supporting and maintaining on-premise servers, storage, and other infrastructure components.
Cloud Platforms: Assisting with the integration and support of cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve technical issues raised by internal staff.
Monitor and maintain network performance and security.
Manage and support on-premise infrastructure, including servers and storage.
Assist with the deployment and support of cloud platforms.
Provide technical support for Dynamics 365 applications.
Willingness to participate in on-call rota and provide weekend support.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
Experience with on-premise infrastructure support.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Familiarity with Dynamics 365.
Experience in retail environments, supporting POS systems, ERP systems, CRM systems, and WMS
