Murray Mcintosh is currently seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a key client.
This is a 12 month contract with potential to be extended further and is outside IR35.
Experience required:
Experience within the Manufacturing, Oil and gas or Water industries
You must be UK Based, Ideally within a couple of hours from Portsmouth
10 + years as an Electronics Engineer
Location: Remote, potentially the occasional visit to office in Hampshire but unlikely
Rate: Up to £60ph
Hours: 40pw
Start: ASAP

My client is currently seeking a IT Security officer to come on board to lead the ISO 27001 compliance and certification process, ensuring the security and resilience of our network and information systems. About The Role The candidate will provide technical support to the team to ensure that all proposed new highways have been designed and detailed in accordance with relevant standards for adoption under Section 38 of the Highways Act 1980 and amendment of existing highways under Section 278 of the same Act. The candidate will use their knowledge of relevant legislation and standards to liaise effectively with stakeholders, developers and their agents, statutory bodies, elected members and the public on all projects. The role will involve supporting the Group Leader to prepare legal instructions and negotiation of legal agreements as well as liaising with solicitors on behalf of the client and developers. About you The candidate will have strong technical skills together with the ability to manage members of the Highway Development team. As a minimum the candidate must possess either a Higher National Certificate/Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or related subject, accredited by the Engineering Council. It is preferable that the candidate be a Chartered, or Incorporated, member of a relevant institution with experience in the design, implementation and supervision of engineering projects. The candidate's demonstratable experience will include excellent communication skills, ability to work independently across multiple schemes, capacity to make effective decisions in high-pressured environments and possess commercial awareness together with a working knowledge of NEC4 ECC.
