QA Engineer (Zephyr Implementation, Public Sector Experience)

Contract: 3 Month Rolling
OUTSIDE IR35
FULLY REMOTE

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with extensive experience in Zephyr implementation and a strong background in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and Java. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the government or public sector, ensuring high-quality software delivery in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in implementing and managing Zephyr for test management.
Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java for automation testing.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
Experience working in the government or public sector with an understanding of compliance and security requirements.
Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage Zephyr for test case management and execution.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Design and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software quality and compliance with government standards.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Ensure compliance with government/public sector regulations and security standards.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into DevOps workflows.
Provide Leadership, mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
