Our client, a major player in the gambling industry, is seeking a QA Analyst to join their expanding team. This role is based in central Manchester, with a hybrid working model requiring two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Analyse requirements documents to ensure clear understanding of business and technical specifications.
Develop test plans and test scripts to agreed standards.
Perform functional and regression testing on software projects.
Accurately report and manage defects using Jira.
Create and maintain product knowledge documentation.
Provide support for functional queries following software releases.
Contribute to the testing strategy and planning for Sportsbook projects, working with senior testers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in commercial software testing, including API, Database, and web testing.
Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test scripts, defect reports).
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience working on frequent software releases.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements.
Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Proactive approach to professional development.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills.
