THE ROLE

As the Senior Director of Services Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and management of Temenos' services portfolio which are sold to both Temenos Customers and Partners. Your role will cover the entire lifecycle of services, from concept to optimization, ensuring that we deliver the right services to our customers at every stage of their journey, from planning and design to implementation, operations, and optimization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Project Delivery and Operations to ensure that Temenos’ services offerings align with market needs and customer expectations. This role also includes leading New Product Introductions (NPI), developing service propositions, defining pricing strategies, creating sales enablement tools, and ensuring the continuous evolution of services. A key component of the role will be managing the sunsetting of outdated services and optimizing the portfolio’s performance in the market.

OPPORTUNITIES


Portfolio Strategy & Development:
Lead the development and management of the services portfolio across its entire lifecycle, from ideation through to retirement.
Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer needs to define compelling service propositions.
Work with internal teams (Product, Sales, Operations, Delivery Teams, etc.) to ensure that services are designed, costed, and priced to deliver value to customers and profitability to Temenos.
New Product Introduction (NPI):
Own the end-to-end NPI process for all services, including market research, proposition development, costing, pricing, and service design.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launch of new services, on schedule and within budget.
Sales Enablement & Training:
Develop and deliver sales enablement programs to ensure that the global sales teams are well-equipped to sell the services portfolio.
Create and maintain comprehensive training materials, presentations, and sales collateral that clearly articulate the value of Temenos’ services.
Work with Sales leadership to monitor and improve sales performance, ensuring alignment between sales targets and portfolio offerings.
Marketing & Communication:
Lead the creation of marketing strategies for the services portfolio, including developing promotional content, collateral, and go-to-market plans, including any campaigns to encourage growth.
Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels, highlighting the value and competitive advantages of the services building these into Software License Product Messaging as well as standalone services messaging, as required.
Customer Lifecycle Management:
Ensure that the services portfolio supports customers at every stage of their journey with Temenos— from initial planning, design, implementation, operating, and optimizing of their environments.
Monitor the success of services post-launch, ensuring continuous value delivery and customer satisfaction.
Portfolio Performance & Optimization:
Regularly assess the performance of all services in the portfolio, using data-driven insights to optimize services for better customer outcomes and business impact.
Manage the sunsetting of old or underperforming services, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and that proper transitions are in place.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:
Provide regular reports on portfolio performance to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment between service offerings and business objectives, including customers and Temenos delivery partners.


Skills


Minimum 8-10 years of experience in services portfolio management, product management, or a similar role, preferably in the enterprise software or banking technology space.
Proven track record of leading successful service launches and managing service portfolios through all phases of the lifecycle.
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, pricing strategies, and sales enablement.
Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and the ability to design services that address customer needs at each stage.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insights into actionable service propositions.
A keen interest in “horizon scanning” the banking software industry and competitive positions for new market trends in services.
Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment, with a focus on results.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize service offerings.
Proficiency in service marketing, including the creation of collateral and sales tools to drive adoption and sales performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
