Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Uttoxeter, United Kingdom (On-Site 5 days a week)
Day Rate: £140 (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Long Term Contract
I am seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Engineer to join one of my biggest clients. In this role, you will provide essential IT support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with system configurations, and offering hands-on support to users. This entry-level position will allow you to develop your technical expertise while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems across desktops, laptops, and Servers.
Assist in configuring and installing IT hardware, including operating systems and software.
Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Assist with managing IT inventory, ensuring equipment is up-to-date and operational.
Document all support activities and resolutions to maintain records.
Assist with general IT queries from internal teams and end-users.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
UK driving licence and own a car/motorcycle (due to the on-site requirement).
Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Some experience in IT support, or relevant internship, would be beneficial.
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
