Blue Legal is working with an award-wining professional services firm who are recruiting for a Business Development and Marketing Manager for a 3 month FTC to join their Maidstone/Kent office. The role will involve working with the Senior BD Manager to manage the launch of a new sector specialism working with Partners, the team and wider firm, and supervising junior members for specific projects and activities.
The Responsibilities:
Manage the pilot and implementation of a new branded template system, collaborating with relevant service lines and IT team.
Oversee the launch of a new sector specialism (Creative, Media, and Technology), including managing communications and events programs.
Support marketing and BD planning for accounts and outsourcing service lines, working with BD representatives across regional offices.
Coordinate the gathering of materials for award entries, including data, testimonials, and supporting documents.
Review and approve editorial content and press releases as needed.
Assist with firm wide telemarketing campaigns to generate new business.
Draft proposals for new business opportunities as required.
Ensure the successful implementation of client care delivery team actions.
The Candidate:
Proven experience in project management, including overseeing system pilots, testing, and implementation across teams.
Strong background in supporting business development and marketing strategies, with experience working across service lines and regional offices.
Experience in PR, including managing award entries, gathering supporting materials, and reviewing editorial content and press releases.
Demonstrated ability to assist with telemarketing campaigns and proposal drafting to support new business acquisition efforts.
