One our clients is currently seeking a Business Analyst with strong Energy Trading experience for an exciting long term contract opportunity within one of the worlds largest Energy Trading companies
This Business Analyst role is perfect for someone who has a deep understanding of Energy trading, operations, and market dynamics, and has previously worked in the fast-paced environment of energy trading - Front Office Experience. For this Business Analyst role having a strong understand and experience working with ETRM systems, directly working with traders, is essential.
For this Business Analyst role is it essential to have experience with ETRM systems such as; OpenLink, Endur, Allegro, Calypso, Sophis, Murex, Trayport, Brady, Molecule.
Skill set needed:
Understanding of Phyton and SQL
Confident working with large complex data sets
Confident working with models
Understanding the full trade life cycle
Experience in Energy Trading
Exposure to derivatives
Having strong communication skills with offshore and onshore stakeholders is key and good documentation skills is essential for working with the engineers doing the development.
Business Analyst contract:
⏰6 months rolling contract
£800/Day outside IR35
Hybrid working (2-3 days in London)
Business analyst Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Physicals or Derivatives Energy Trading space domain
· Strong background in Energy Trading and familiarity with trading platforms
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Experience working with ETRM systems
