Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, execution, and documentation of functional and performance tests for a public-facing REST and gRPC API.
Actively participate in user story discussions to define and refine acceptance criteria.
Develop and execute integration tests using Cucumber.
Conduct both manual and automated tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Record detailed test evidence and results within JIRA.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate testing seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
Test additional components, including public-facing admin and documentation portals, with a focus on the API's critical functionality.

Required Skills & Experience
API Testing: Proficient in executing functional and non-functional tests on public-facing REST APIs developed in Node.js.
Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience writing automation tests using Cucumber.
Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Test Case Definition: Experience defining BDD test cases in JIRA and documenting execution evidence.
Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using Postman for load testing and API endpoint validation.

Functional Business Analyst needed for Commodities & Energy trading House who are going through a huge amount of positive business & technology change. As a functional Business analyst / architect, you will sit between business stakeholders (Traders, Energy Analysts, Risk, Finance) as well as the IT Domain Streams, with a focus on external communication to ETRM/CTRM suppliers, brokers etc.. The firm, as a specialist in Energy & Commodities, trade both Physical & derivatives, therefore you will gain exposure to full IT lifecycle delivery and at this seniority, have influence and see the impact of your role.

As the functional Business Analyst | Functional Architect, you'll be responsible leading and delivering functional analysis for IT change initiatives. Responsible for working with all different parts of the business and IT to ensure seamless integration and alignment of change activites driven by the business. E.g. New desks opening, new products traded, ETRM/CTRM choices.

Working cloesly with the business (Front & Middle oofice), you will be responsible for understanding, analysis and documenting exactly what changes are afoot, whilst evaluating the readiness and capability of the current IT landscape, apps & architecture, to identify inefficiencies that could hinder change, and suggest & drive strategic IT imporvements. Breaking down new products that are wanted to be traded, understanding what products the IT landscape is ready for, where internal builds VS off-the-shelf ETRM's might be more effective
