Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (dependant on skill set & experience)

We are seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist to support our team. This is not an ordinary recruiting role but an exciting opportunity to work at one of the fastest-growing startups globally! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and international stakeholders to support our continued growth and expansion.
As a Talent Sourcer, you will partner with recruiters and hiring managers on strategic talent sourcing, identification, and engagement. Your role will primarily consist of identifying and reaching out to people to pique their interest and consistently answer the question: who should we be reaching out to? You will partner directly with the hiring team to develop search strategies based on role requirements, perform market mapping research, and execute on hard to fill roles.
Responsibilities:
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers on complex and difficult searches, using data driven insights to drive sourcing activity.
Identify, evaluate and suggest potential candidates sourced through various networks and using various tools.
Craft compelling reach out messages that ensure a high response rate and strengthen the employer brand.
Develop pipelines of candidates from backgrounds that are underrepresented for current and future hiring needs.
Act as a market researcher and build out competitive analysis that helps to inform recruitment strategies.
Ensure high quality candidate and internal stakeholder experiences by building strong partnerships and fostering transparency with progress updates on a regular basis.
Qualifying skills & experience:
In-house and/or agency talent sourcing experience with some understanding of how to navigate in a complex organization with certain level of ambiguity.
Experience in start-ups/ technology industry is strongly preferred.
Experience using talent market insights and data to influence stakeholders and decision making across functional teams.
Desire to understand people and their motivations and determination to find them and engage with them in a meaningful and tailored way.
Ability to work on multiple and competing priorities with the ability to shift focus when needs and requirements change.
Dedication to building diverse teams.

Job Overview: The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will take a leading position within Sunswap’s Mechanical Design Engineering Team developing mechanical aspects of our battery-solar powered refrigeration technology. You will be required to use your knowledge about various manufacturing techniques from extruded aluminium, vacuum forming, bonded aluminium to name a few. As Sunswap introduces new products, there will be opportunities to lead on Design for Manufacture in early stages of a development cycles from concept through to detailed design, system integration, build and certification. Responsibilities: Be the technical leader on mechanical design work packages and projects Rapidly produce high-quality mechanical designs using CAD Design product for volume manufacture, balancing assembly time, part cost, supplier count, tooling cost, performance and quality Expand Sunswap’s knowledge of various manufacturing techniques Optimise the design of components and systems using functional and analytical tools, including hand calculations and FEA where appropriate Specify and source mechanical components Develop, manage, and maintain technical documentation like Bills of Materials, DFMEA, Component Specifications and Technical Instructions Support the assembly of the prototype products and identify optimisation opportunities in the assembly process Experience of thriving in a cross functional environment, where collaboration is key to meet deadlines. Proven experience having delivered mechanical systems from concept to production.
