We are looking for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team at our vibrant primary school in Haringey. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of young children, helping them to build a solid foundation for their future education.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with the EYFS curriculum
Provide 1:1 and small group support to children, focusing on their individual learning needs and helping them develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, phonics and social development
Support students in developing SLCN, developing fine and gross motor skills
Supporting students with additional needs and disabilities

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience working with children in an early years or primary school setting, ideally within an EYFS class
A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and developmental milestones
A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with young children
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable:

Experience working with children who have additional needs, including special educational needs (SEN)
Knowledge of phonics and early literacy strategies
An understanding of effective strategies to support social and emotional development in young children

Automation & IaC: Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker, GitHub workflows and GitOps practices, enabling seamless application deployments.
